Graduate Tuition & Fees

For the 2025-26 academic year, the tuition charge for Masters of Art in Teaching (MAT) students will be $4,755 per unit. 

MAT Program Enrollment

**Puget Sound students who have successfully completed EDUC 419 and EDUC 420 have fulfilled the content requirement for Summer 1 and do not need to enroll in the Summer 1 term. Applicants from other institutions with education-related coursework equivalent to EDUC 609 and/or EDUC 610 may be eligible for a course waiver. Candidates not required to enroll in Summer 1 will begin their program of study in Fall term. Summer 1 adds $9,510 to the total cost of the program.

For the 2025-26 academic year, the tuition charge for students in the Master of Education in Counseling (MEd) Program will be $5,155 per unit. The MEd Counseling program is a 15-unit program of study that is consistent with the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) accreditation standards. The University of Puget Sound is currently seeking this new accreditation. Pending approval of the accreditation process, candidates who graduate within 18 months from the time the first CACREP compliant cohort completes the program will be recognized as completing a CACREP program.

Students currently in their first year will see the cost for the second year of enrollment change to reflect the actual tuition and fee rates approved for that given year.

Counseling Program Enrollment

For the 2025-26 academic year, the tuition charge for Masters Public Health (MPH) students will be $3,765 per unit. The MPH program is completed in five terms for a total of sixteen units beginning in the fall and ending the following summer.

MPH Program Enrollment

*There is an additional $1,135 fee for each capstone/practicum course taken (PH 633 and 634) along with the tuition costs noted above. PH 634 can only be taken in the spring semester.

The Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) program is completed in seven terms for a total of 14.75 units of occupational therapy coursework as well as two full-time fieldwork clinical affiliations off-campus.

**Additionally: Please plan on the expenses listed below. We are mindful when making requirements that extend your costs beyond tuition, they are necessary requirements.

• Required AOTA annual fee (American Occupational Therapy Association) – $78 each year
• SOTA annual fee (Student Occupational Therapy Association) Optional but highly recommended - $30 each year
• Immunizations, titers, TB tests, health and liability insurance
• CPR training, background check, HIPAA and OSHA training, drug screens, etc.

The Entry Level Doctorate (OTD) program is completed in 8 terms and includes 15 units of occupational therapy coursework, six months of full-time fieldwork experience, and a 14-week Capstone experience. The per unit rate is $8,245.

OTD Program Enrollment

*The Capstone occurs in the spring of the third year, once the fieldwork experience is completed.

All enrolled DPT students will be charged a $70 fee each semester to cover the cost of the subscription fee for McGraw Hill Access Physiotherapy resource.
